Just The Recipe – Quick Chilled Vegetable Salad – Family Recipe

Full of fiber and flavor, this is the perfect addition to a potluck, picnic or summer get-together!

Servings: 20 (2/3 C each) Calories Per: 120 Equipment: Large mixing bowl, knife and cutting board, mixing spoon and a measuring cup.

  • 5 C raw Broccoli – chopped
  • 5 C raw Cauliflower – chopped
  • 1 Shallot (approx 1.2 C) chopped
  • 1 can (8oz) Water Chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 Envelope of Hidden Valley Ranch dry salad dressing mix
  • 1 C Sour Cream
  • 1 C Mayonnaise
  1. Put your Sous Chef apron on – prep and chop ingredients.
  2. Mix all ingredients into a bowl.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Serve chilled.
