Apricot Balls – Grandma’s Recipe

Dessert – stores well. Makes 48 one inch balls. CALORIES: 70 per ball.

4 C Unsifted powdered sugar

1/3 C melted butter

2T orange juice

1 C ground dried apricots

3/4 C finely chopped pecans

Combine Sugar, Butter and Orange Juice. Add apricots. Knead until well mixed. Form into one inch balls and roll in the pecans until lightly covered.

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week, covered container. Can also freeze for up the three months for best quality, in a sealed container.

These will often improve with a bit of age, if the storage is good quality.
